	Edward lived for several years in Limington, Maine, where the first children were born and where Abigail died.  
	When he married Susannah in 1805, he moved to Standish above York's Corners, and had other children.  He was a man
	of great kindness; remembered with affection by old men, whom he noticed when they were boys.<br />
	<br />
	His second wife was sister of the first.<br />
	<br />
	Edward served as a private in the Revolutionary War.<br />
	Nason, Edward, Arundel Private, Capt. Jesse Dorman's Co., Col. James Scammon's (30th) Regt.  <br />
	Muster roll dated Aug. 1, 1775; enlisted May 8, 1775; service three months;<br />
	also Company Return (probably Oct. 1775) including Abstract of Pay to last July,1775.<br />

	Nason, Edward, Pepperellborough Private,<br />
	Capt. Jeremiah Hill's Co., Col. Jesse Scammon's (30th) Regt.<br />
	Company Return dated Sept. 27, 1775;  enlisted May 3, 1775;<br />

	After the war Edward was in the lumber business.<br />
